But aspic has still an activity, wich I never mention here : as I work in a contemporay art space (called la Salle de bains), I have a musical project in collaboration with this art space. It is called les Rendez-vous. In a few words, it is headphones concerts (see picture below). You can find more informations by following the link (in this mail or at the end of the links column, on the right).

Still talking about music : Imagho and I are actually working on a sound installation commissioned by the public library of Lyon. The deadline is in january.
There will also be something like 10 headphones concerts featuring lots of interesting artists. More news to come here.

And the biggest news. The one I should have begin with ! The 14th of may, my girlfriend Isabelle and I had a son. His name is Kim and I am definitly the happiest man on earth ! That is also the reason why I didn’t have my thoughts really focused on music those last months. I know it sound stupid and this blog is not made for it but you will not avoid the picture of Kim. Fuck, stupidity is sometimes so cool and it is my blog, I do what I want !

One last thing : I do not give a fuck about the blog logic. Since this blog has been created, I only receive 2 or 3 comments from friends (thanks guys, but it is definitly better to talk with you than to communicate by blog;-). And I receive tons of spams. It seems nobody is interested in discussion.
So, as I am tired of deleting spams, comments are now blocked. This site is for infos about aspic activities, and downloading our ton of mp3. And please, don’t talk to me about myspace ! If you want to communicate, come to my house and have a coffee, or send me a mail (frz[at]aspicrecords’dot’com)

- New Radioblog
We didn’t have time for our weekly rehearsals (2 guitars straight through our laptop) I and Imagho, and we recently found som time. It was a great pleasure and here are the 2 best moments on the radioblog. On the radioblog too, there is a recording of me walking back home, under a slight rain. It was really peaceful, hope you will enjoy.

Radioblog from october to december 2005

Wallpaper Music is an installation by Sébastien Roux.
Sounds by Sogar.
Wallpaper by Claire Moreux.
This was the second edition of the installation, in Lyon, City Library, in march 2004.
In a few words, Wallpaper Music is a wall generating sounds, like a big speaker.
You just enter a room, and you hear sounds, and you realize a whole wall is vibrating. There are no speakers in the room, just a wall, sounding.
This is the recording of the concert in the installation, march the 19th, 2004. Pre-recorded sounds of the installation composed by Jürgen Heckel (Sogar). Sébastien Roux & Frz were generating guitar drones.

Avoidance is always the best treatment for allergies regardless of which allergens are the triggers. Allergy treatment. Interestingly enough, the most effective, least expensive, and simplest options are not always followed. Many people choose medications or vaccinations instead, despite their drawbacks. Fortunately, there are lots of simple methods, both old and new, to help with avoidance. Remember, putting into practice any of these measures can only be helpful in managing your allergies.
The good news is that you really don’t have to strip your house down to the bare bones to make it allergy proof. Thorough and regular cleaning generally makes a huge difference in keeping your house as mold and dust free as possible. Patients with asthma or allergic rhinitis that are due to dust mites, molds, or other indoor allergens can feel better by taking these simple measures:

* Keep the home cool (between 68 and 72 degrees F);
* Maintain a low humidity (between 40 and 50%); and
* Make certain there is good ventilation.

When patients get started with the process of “allergy- proofing” their homes, one of two things usually happens.
They either do nothing or “overdo it.” Some patients become so overwhelmed with all the different methods of allergy- proofing that they simply do nothing. That’s always a disappointing outcome, especially when the process is so straightforward and inexpensive. Just focusing on the basics of a routine and thorough cleaning and temperature and humidity reduction can lead to fewer asthma symptoms and a vastly improved quality of life.
